Intended to be published once a year, Ideas is APIGA's magazine. It includes articles on EFLT, practical lessons and photocopiable hand-outs, interviews with leading figures in the ESLT/EFLT arena, personal experiences, transcripts of panel sessions, reviews and humor.
Ideas came as a timely response to a long-awaited dream: having an appropriate means through which Galician teachers of English could "exchange ideas, stimulate educational innovation, and hopefully enrich orselves as individuals and as educators".
But English teachers are not only interested on classes and tips. Written in
English, Galician or Spanish, the magazine includes interviews with well-known
local writers and intellectuals and reviews of books that we found of some
interest, no matter what field: litterature, maths, philosophy,...
Ideas is distributed free of charge to all members of APIGA, secondary
schools in Galicia, many primary schools, teachers' centres, universities and
other teachers' associations in different places. The magazine is for sale (€3) in selected bookshops (see bottom of page).
If you would like to get a copy, send us
a message with your addresss and a suggested form of payment.
Contributions are welcome. For submissions, get
