Dates and venue
We welcome you to our Xornadas, which will be held in Santiago on March 4th, 5th and 6th. Presentations will take place at the IES "Antón Fraguas" (Fontiñas) and the opening and closing plenaries at the EGAP (Escola Galega de Administración Pública).

Speakers
Presentations will be of two kinds: conferences (1.5 hours) and communications (30 mins.) Some "conferencias" will be practical and hands-on, aimed at practitioners, and others more like a formal talk.
Papers presented in the conference will be published. Get in touch with the organization for details. We suggest you check the Modern Languages Association's guidelines for publication.

Announcers and exhibitors
Publishing houses, bookshops, language schools and other companies wishing to collaborate with the conference should start considering inserting publicity in the programme, the website, booking a stand for materials and publicity display, sponsoring an event (such as the reception) or maybe suggest something new.
Registration
A brochure has already been posted to APIGA members and Galician schools. If you are not a member but would like to be kept posted, please send an e-mail to info@apiga.org with the subject "Xornadas 2004 - request for information" and your personal details (name, postal address, e-mail, telefone number).
If you register before the 15th of February:
- you get an "early bird" discount
- your attendance certificate will be ready to be picked up at the conference (rather than sent to you by post)
